In Feburary 2004 I decide I needed to start my own wrestling company whos purpose was to bring back traditional Mid-Atlantic wrestling.Southern Pro Wrestling was born with that in mind. With Wendy Pope's encouragement and to help out a friend of hers SPW ran its first show in January 2005 with a show called The Night of the IRONMEN where in the main event I took the two best in VA NWA VA champion "MR. Mid Atlantic" Damien Wayne and for the first time in a singles pitted him against "The Geordie Bulldog" Sean Denny in a 60 minute ironman match. The rest of that show had some of the best wrestlers from VA. Since that first show I have brought in wrestlers from all over the US to give the fans the best wrestling we possibly could. I took most of 2009 off, but, as of september 1st I have joined forces with CAROLINA WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT to run shows in the Greensboro area.
